Raziyah the Peddler is one of the streetwalkers in the red light district of Galata, Istanbul.
By 19, after a hard childhood, she finds herself working for Madam Eleni’s parlour on the then famous Abanoz Street. When she is 30, Abanoz Street loses its grandeur and Raziyah the Peddler moves to Galata. This is where she meets Smokey, then later on, Sami the Specs enters her life as one of her ‘special friends’.
